Sophie started her career as a sales manager in various big houses such as JC Decaux, Guerlain or Adidas. At the dawn of her 30th birthday, she decided to take a 180° turn by taking her CAP Cuisine at the Ecole Hôtelière de Paris (CFA Médéric).

Following this most rewarding experience, it became obvious to combine a commercial background with a passion for cooking. She then joined a major caterer in Yvelines where she organized wedding receptions and private events for 5 years.

Sophie is now part of the teams at Château d'Aveny where she is in charge of marketing this enchanting place and supporting customers in organizing weddings and private events.

Elodie began her academic career with studies in the hotel and restaurant industry with degrees in bakery, pastry and chocolate and a BTS in hotel and catering option hotel management. Following this and to follow her desire for more comprehensive customer support, she also completed a Bachelor's degree in event project manager and a Master in events and public relations.

During these various experiences, Elodie was able to perfect her experience in several restaurants, hotels and reception venues before joining Domaines & Events in 2021 within the Domaine de La Roche Couridor.

Elodie is now responsible for private events at the Domaine de La Roche Courier and accompanies the bride and groom, from the request for information until the big day. Support for several months to make their big day an exceptional moment in the heart of a charming estate in the enchanting Chevreuse Valley.

Lou Merle has a solid experience in the organization and coordination of events, especially in the field of weddings. She has been the director of Poncheri Weddings since 2019, where she managed the complete organization of weddings, the decoration and the coordination of events. Previously, she worked as a freelance wedding planner at MC2 Mon Amour, where she was in charge of finding service providers, managing wedding files for Parisian palaces and coordinating events. His background also includes experience in luxury leather goods, especially as a prototypist for Louis Vuitton and other major brands. With a background in product design and styling, she combines creativity, a sense of detail and organizational rigor to offer unique and tailor-made experiences.

Lou is in charge of the development and commercial management of weddings at Domaine du Grand Morin. Its role encompasses the entire customer journey, from making contact to carrying out the event.

It ensures the processing of incoming requests via various platforms. In close collaboration with the Domaine Director, she anticipates logistical and organizational needs to ensure a seamless experience for couples who choose Domaine du Grand Morin for their big day.

Her role is also to work closely with internal teams to ensure that each event meets the highest standards of quality and reflects the DNA of Domaines & Events: creating unique, friendly and memorable experiences in exceptional heritage places.

About the role

There is no typical profile but you should have some experience that meets our criteria. You will be trained in our Domains & Events corporate culture and how we manage our Domains. It is preferable to have experience in the hotel and catering field or in domain management (castles). If not, you can apply for the Apprentice Director program.

Missions
  • The management of a site (between 300 and 3000 m2) in real autonomy, under the supervision of the Domains & Events group and with the support of the headquarters teams (operations management, sales department, sales department, accounting, accounting, training, HR...).
  • Relying on your Event Manager, you will be responsible for orchestrating client events both at weddings and seminars (personalized welcome, ensuring that any prior request is taken into account in terms of the rooms, the table, the rooms, etc.). You will divide the tasks between you and your team, flexibility is the order of the day in our areas.
  • The management of team members (between 3 and 6 people: Event Manager, Chambermaid (s), Technician, gardener...), as well as service providers who intervene on the various events (caterers, DJs, florists, florists, team building activities...). You will be responsible for recruiting, training and sharing values, and as a true leader, you will know how to use everyone's expertise.
  • Respect for a budget and the heritage of a domain. You will have to control expenses without reducing quality, you will identify the investments to be undertaken based on the feedback of the participants.
